desperate means for desperate times

I’ve heard about that gravy train

Apparently they don’t tip-share at that restaurant.

I worked one Summer as a busboy at a big motel chain restaurant. It was a real eye-opener as to the highs and lows of human nature.

I remember the busboy got a portion of the waiter’s tips, but never anything for the dishwasher

here’s a tip – 7th horse in the 7th race on the 7th day of any year ending in 7.

Minimum wage is up in Ohio! Finally

With all the other stuff in the gravy.

How does he know she won’t eat it?

He’ll see she gets a clean plate next time.

Gratuitous gravy.

She intends to clean the plate, no place to hide the tip.

That’s his “gravy train”.
