Common wealth in and of itself is not a contradiction in terms. It’s just not capitalist.
…..and Massachusetts refers to itself as ’’The Commonwealth of Massachusetts"….not State.
According to Wikipedia, "Commonwealth is a term used by four of the 50 states of the United States in their full official state names. “Commonwealth” is a traditional English term for a political community founded for the common good."
I thought that traditionally, Barney or Lucretia would be vacuuming and Consuela would be running Pillsbury.
Boxing Day is traditionally when the householders and the help “switch” places.
