Either Alzheimer’s kicking in or my mind just overstuffed with details… but I can’t remember… and can’t believe I can’t remember….
Have we ever seen interaction between any of the human denizens of the Snug and the very nearly ubiquitous seagull? Is it possible that the bird is like Imaginary Gary? (Not to even raise the question of the Furry Lurker in the woods.)
And if not imaginary, could they all be Harveylike pookahs? (Not to be confused with puka shells….)
Somewhere in cartoon land there must be a support group for the teachers from Calvin and Hobbes, Foxtrot, Wallace the Brave, and the list goes on. Might make for a good comic…

I can think of a lot better things than to sit at a desk in the middle of a classroom for hide-and-seek.

Naturally, Seagull joined in on the fun. Or, maybe it was his idea.
