ever since I got my Amazon Echo Dot for Chrismtas last year (I didn’t request it), I’ve learned I can play rock/paper/scissors therewith (as well as tic-tac-toe, hangman, and battleship)

A YouTuber (who’s name I can’t remember) built a Rock, Paper, Scissors robot that wins every time. Works out that the robot changes its choice faster than we can see. Beware the robot overlords.

You can play GAMES on the computer?

For now he might win. If Boston Dynamics gets their way it could be another story.

I think we might be nearing the point in FoxTrot Classics where I started reading for the first time.

Roger, have the computer give you odds. As an interesting side-note, when I gave odds in a chess game, I changed my style drastically. Instead of trying to make sound moves, I played like a maniac, just trying to bulldoze right over my opponent. I did end up getting some nice game-ending combos, after the unsound parts…

It does suck that computers can beat even reigning world champs. I feel like there’s no point to humans playing chess anymore.

With computers you need to play Rock, Hammer, Chisel. Just unplug it and go to work on it. You can win.

Let’s play backgammon, I toss real dice…
