Synchronicity was probably first brought to the modern world’s attention with Carl Jung’s book with that title in which he tried to scientifically investigate these occurrences which we probably all have experienced and can be viewed as anomalies in reality that hint to some greater meaning in seemingly random events and for some serve as an indication of the unknown edges of consciousness. A more recent book by Paul Halpern, also titled Synchronicity, investigates the phenomena as an extension on the “spooky action at a distance” (as Einstein called it) that is quantum entanglement. But I think my favorite book about synchronicity is The Cosmic Trigger by Robert Anton Wilson.
