For all New Readers To Ten Cats, firstly welcome to the strip, and for all existing readers who sometimes struggle to identify who’s who in the comic, I put together a panel, from a GH original, with all their names on. Also for reference; Lily, Jellybean, and Bluebell, are the girls (Don’t upset Lily, you’ll regret it!).

You may like to use GC helper (Coded by Neil Wick who posts on Dick Tracy) to help with the un-nesting of replies to Comments, and also the loading of links/pictures etc. so you don’t have to copy/paste each one seperately into the address bar to view. Neither of these happen automatically due to the changes made to the page coding some time ago.

GC Replies un-nests all the replies, but you need to hit the “View the comments” button, or click on the “Show All Comments” link first to un-nest all of them.

GC Links shows the links as active links. Pictures (.jpg, .gif, .png, .bmp) will show as pictures directly on the page. Again you will have needed to have hit the “View the comments” button, or clicked on the “Show All Comments” link first to apply this patch to the links in any replies.

Save Strip allows you to right click on the strip and “Save As” to save the strip to your computer, the current formatting of the site disables the “Save Image” function in the ‘Right-Click’ menu.

GC Helper will work on all GC comics, not just this one.

To get text formatted on seperate lines like this you have to strike the “Return” key Twice! to create the line break, not once.

SPAY DAY. Just for a couple of my cats. I’m finally getting around to spaying Annie’s kittens. Pebbles was spayed last week. Today, Cindy and Panther will be spayed. My newest cat, CeeCee has already been spayed.

An update on CeeCee. She came out of her crate yesterday morning and started exploring the kitchen. That’s where she was when I left for work. But when I got home from work a few hours later (I only worked a half shift so I could get home to take food away from Panther and Cindy to prepare for their spay today), I couldn’t find CeeCee. I looked all over but then I finally saw her coming downstairs. I had looked all over up there, but she must have been hiding under my bed. She was a little agitated because Joy was at the top of the stairs and Oreo was at the bottom and she was feeling threatened. They were not threatening her, but she’s used to being an only cat, so she isn’t real comfortable with other cats right now. Anyway, she finally got past Oreo and made her way into the kitchen. I still have the crate in the living room with the door wide open, but she hasn’t gone back in the crate. Instead, she got in the hideaway section of the big cat tree. So she is feeling better. I can pet her and I even picked her up once, but she didn’t want to be held too long. I’m not going to push it. I think she has made excellent progress. My sister just got CeeCee’s medical records from Bobby (the person who she got the cat from after her real owner abandoned her), so now I know she is spayed, vaccinated and chipped.

Nice try, Chesney. He’s no bonehead.

I was thinking that was Roufus, but he usually takes the bait. BTW, Snow Sez is here again for the 3rd day in a row!

You’ll never get any customers that way, kitties!

Scam artist still going strong!

I need to apologize to people who ordered my book, Wanda Weird, through Amazon.com. It seems people are getting emails from Amazon saying the book is out of stock and can’t be shipped at this time. So, I emailed Ann, my publisher. It seems the same thing has happened to her book. Only through Amazon, though. So here is a copy of our emails to help explain what happened.

(me) I got a text from my sister, Mary tonight. She preordered a few copies of my book. She got an email today from Amazon saying the book was out of stock and they couldn’t deliver it. Do you know why this happened? I haven’t asked anyone else in my family if it happened to them too. She wants to know when they will send her the books.

(Ann) Hi Becky,I contacted the distributor and apparently what happened is your book and my book got stuck in limbo between Amazon and ingramspark and didn’t drop the way they should due to not enough staffing over the holidays. 

Believe you me, I let them know exactly what I thought of all that! It is totally unacceptable!

They are looking into it. I told them how upsetting this is and highly unprofessional. Becky, I’m so upset over this!!!

As soon as I hear back from them I will let you know. Until then, people are finding our books on different sites. I am guessing, and it’s just my guess, that by the end of this week they will be ready to drop on Amazon. 

I apologize 100 times over for this disruption. I am so upset over it, I had a hard time sleeping last night. Believe me, this will get straightened out!

to AnnThanks for your prompt response. I see I just got an email from a friend who no doubt is telling me the same thing. She got an email from Amazon too. GRRRRR! They were all so looking forward to getting the book! I’ll copy your reply and send it to them. Not your fault. But I am really annoyed with the whole situation!

Thanks to everyone who has been praying for Peppercorn. After being gone for eight days, he came home tonight. But he’s been hurt. He can’t put any weight on his left hind leg. Rght now, my son is taking him to the Animal Emergency Room. Your prayers that he is not hurt that bad would be appreciated.

Smart move, Doggie. That limited offer sounds like an unlimited ripoff! On another note, saw four varied thrushes, a chickadee, a squirrel, and two golden crowned kinglets while out walking today.
