Battle Bots has a certain primal appeal but we preferred the MIT annual robotics competition shows on PBS, which were a class assignment. Sadly, they discontinued televising it.

Geez, now that got me thinking. Would a robot with AI technology want to fight to the “death”?

He’s got the chits. Poor guy.

Poor EB. He definitely is a pacifist robot. It’s not good to be leaving batteries in the arena.

On the subject of batteries, “triple A’s” carry the same voltage as “double A’s”. Told it was in the Boy Scouts’ manual. Problem is, I was never a scout.(SCOUTS HONOR !)

I was just introduced to Battle Bots this last week. (no TV so it was all new to me) I have to agree, that poor little robot wouldn’t last a second. Unsign him.

E.B. is a peaceable robot, Monty! Don’t try to make a “Fighting Machine” out of him!

I recently rediscovered BattleBots. It’s maybe even better than I remember.
