The big company decided to outsource our call center, and we became employees of the outsourcing company…
First thing the outsourcing company did was change our center’s name from “Help Desk” to “IT Service Exchange” because it also changed our response times – instead of immediately sending an IT person out, now we just booked repair visits with lead times of two or more weeks…
The big company complained, but the outsourcing company pointed out that they should have read the new contract before they signed it…
