I used to bath my dog in the shower and tried to teach him to shake in the shower. but NO. He needed a bit more room so would shake off just outside of the shower and drench the bathroom walls
After a long walk in the rain, I tell my dog she can shake off on the porch. She totally ignores me, even if I stand there for a while without opening the doors. There is enough room to shake. As soon as we get inside, she shakes all over me, my furniture, and everything else. If I am quick enough, I can grab the towel I keep for her by the door and wipe her down. She’s patient once I get started, but if she gets all the way inside it’s going to be a wet dog day. At least she will happily walk in the rain.

I don’t know about all Husky’s but mine would not go near water. Howled, cried and fought like you were trying to kill her.

The shaking part after-bath. I always tried to have my boy covered up with fluffy towels. Ah, memories……

I really like the drawings on the shaking off. They shake so very, very fast!

Yeah, my chihuahuas hate taking baths! But they love getting toweled off after.
