I have worked at two large companies ( > 10000 employees) where the top jerk in charge got huge bonuses for cutting the budget, and then the company almost went bankrupt from failure to fulfill contracts. At one of these, the board hired this pos after he had already done the same someplace else. Luckily, he died shortly after being fired, so he couldn’t render his wrack and ruin any place else.
