An interesting fact that is often ignored, is that to produce fresh water, and transport it inland, thus increasing livable land space, and reducing sea levels, more thermal energy is required, to be applied to sea water. This will also result in atmospheric cooling, and ultimately a new ice age.

Is that a scale model of the future Miami?
