I’d have been in SO much trouble had I done that! Jogs a memory though of making book covers for textbooks out of the paper grocery bags we got. Sometimes the newspaper would print book covers with blanks for subject, student and teacher names.
I had a great geometry teacher. Most of the class were Seniors. There was a McDonald’s nearby and his class was right after lunch. He accepted homework that was written on the food bags or nugget boxes, but now and then, he reminded the class that he did not accept anything more than 50% grease stain or napkins, since they could easily tear.
