My uncle mopes with a recent story about donating blood. He got off the donation couch and took a moment to make sure his knees would behave, then apparently had more hobbling in his step than desired. The nurses are always alert for people becoming light-headed after giving blood and they sprang forward in concern. No, no. Just getting old.
Jane Fonda said aging causes nerves to lose contact with brain and walking/balance get messed up. She should know, she’s had knee and hip replacements.

There are good days when I walk normally and bad days when I hobble.

Knees don’t last forever. Neither do knee replacements if you walk a lot.

I broke both bones in my ankle 6 months ago and it still affects how I walk. That and turning 67.

This is sad. And apparently we are all getting on in years. :-(
