The smallest dogs take up the most space too. My 25lb mutt made sure I knew the bed was his! Well, his so long as sister-cat got her share of the action. My 60lb Choc. Sheprador Mutt stayed curled up in a little ball on the lower corner of the bed. I had since lost the bed-hog, but 12lb kitty did a good job of bed-hogging too. Currently I have no animals to hog my bed, though there is a local feral who has glanced inside my apartment 2x and I am hoping she is up for the job. If you are still reading this, please give extra love and treats to your bed-hogs and let them know it is in memory of those we have lost.
