Bad idea, ‘Mom’ Middletown would want to take over for Morris, who, in ‘her book’ is qualified to do anything ! ! ! !

Not the Little League team I was on. After a couple games, the “coach” settled on who got to play and who got to sit on the sidelines. Most parents never bothered to attend, as it was a small town and everyone knew who was playing, who would scored and which side would win.

Now if you can just get the parents to stop sending you a dozen videos of every workout and game with their critiques overdubbed.

When I coached soccer, each kid was REQUIRED to play two quarters of each game. I used slide sheets and cards to position the players and indicate what quarter they’d play. The parents could check out their kids participation, too. My only whine from parents was that their kid wanted to play a particular position. My standard line was, when they develop the skills for the position, they’ll play it.
