At today’s microchip prices, maybe buying a used metal detector would be cheaper? Or even save more money the pirate could store the shovel in a broom closet.

Nate, I would call a gentle brute!!

Why not just keep the shovel in a safe spot where can always be found , like the porch (or, in the case of the Revenge, somewhere on the deck )?

I thought our mice were home schooled?

Meanwhile, the university at which I work shut down abruptly on Monday morning and remains closed today due to fear of icy roads.
