A digestion demonstration; now that’s gonna be kinda tricky, especially with four stomachs.

When I was a kid, I never wanted veggies to touch any other, more tasty food.

How far are we going to take Petey’s digestion process at school?

And who’s going to milk that cow?

I will have to digest that. Food for thought.

You might want to ruminate on that proposal a bit, Petey.

As long as dessert is one of the food groups, I’m good.

Things like that are why Alice’s mom flinches when the phone rings.

This cud be the best sharing time ever!!

Just don’t cut the cheese…

I think Petey’s musings are the only time I ever see Alice in rapt attention.

I don’t think Miss Bliss would approve of a digestion demonstration, but she might allow a presentation in diorama form. What say you Petey?

Stupid parents, enabling bad behavior like that. Mix it all up and if he doesn’t eat he doesn’t eat. Sooner or later NATURE will overcome the bad habits instilled by poor Nurturing.

Petey knows too much for his own good, but not enough to stave off Alice’s attempt to exploit his weirdness. (And, besides, he’s a Blisshaven alumnus, too.)

Jonathan Winters, when asked what he recommended for entertainment in his small town, said, “You can go to the library after lunch and listen to the readers digest.” (This was long before audio versions of print material were common.)
