Where’s a cop when you need one. Looks like Speed Racer just went by.

There’s a store and a hydrant. Otherwise I would have said they must be standing right in our street.

Actually we were taught to look in three directions when at a corner. Left—Right and behind you.

Looking without seeing isn’t going to help. Seeing the oncoming speeding car, it would be a given that you don’t step out.

Why would Nerwin cross the street, is this a test, or is Hilda funning him, or?…

Broom-Hilda is making sure that Nerwin knows how to safely cross the street at a crosswalk.

Nerwin, this time, has learned an important lesson. Speeders kill!
