Using Michael’s logic, why should their grandmother feed them and wash their clothes? They’ll just get hungry again and dirty their clothes again.

Pretty sure she expects the same result, a shoveled driveway.

Sounds like the same issue with washing dishes

Sorry, Michael, that argument may be reasonable when it comes to making the bed, but not for much of anything else.

Maybe he could try the old Tom Sawyer trick. I bet there’s plenty of gullible kids in his neighborhood.

My mamma said, “Because if someone slips & falls because you didn’t we’ll get sued & lose the house.”

Insanity is hereditary. You get it from your children (or in this case, grandchildren).

Better 2 inches a day than 14 at the end of the week.

Before I ever lived in snow country, I couldn’t understand why people bothered to shovel snow off their walkways and sidewalks, etc. It seemed to me that snow would be exciting and fun to have around. Of course not living with it at all, I had no idea that snow got packed down, or was slippery, and often dangerous to walk to drive on. Once I moved to an area that actually got snow, I wised up in a hurry.
