Before I ever lived in snow country, I couldn’t understand why people bothered to shovel snow off their walkways and sidewalks, etc. It seemed to me that snow would be exciting and fun to have around. Of course not living with it at all, I had no idea that snow got packed down, or was slippery, and often dangerous to walk to drive on. Once I moved to an area that actually got snow, I wised up in a hurry.

Using Michael’s logic, why should their grandmother feed them and wash their clothes? They’ll just get hungry again and dirty their clothes again.
