aww, reminds me of one of my dogs, long gone, and her favorite toy. I bought a blue squeaky bone. I thought it would last a week. It became a loved toy. Every time we came home she raced to grab her toy and greet us at the door with it.
Had a keeshond that was very fond of rawhide ‘bones.’ One Christmas Santa brought her a REALLY long one. As she ran around the house with it she came to a doorway and “clunk” she came to a dead stop because it didn’t fit through! She quickly learned to carry it at one end if she wanted to change rooms.
