Frankly I am amazed that they can carry on a conversation at all while skiing down a hill.

Isn’t it kind of weird and ironic in panel 2 that just when Gord says he would like to be alone once in a while, that Gord comes up and gives a back hug to Michael? Sure, you can’t really hug someone face to face when you’re on skis.

Best friends and Mike didn’t know if Gord was still dating?

I wonder if they were wearing helmets in the original strip, or have these ones been added on after the fact?Also Happy Pi Day, if you use the American dating system.

Silence between friends need not be a bad thing.

There is always something to talk about. If they were with Rhetta’s brother and it turns it he hates liver and onions, they could mock him with this song:

“Lorne, Lorne…

“Lorne down the liver!”

I know people who have to talk all the time. Its like they’re uncomfortable with silence and/or their own thought.

Sometimes you run out of things to say, other times you don’t have to say anything.

My bride and I have been married so long that the only things we say are usually “Love you” and “thank you”.

Wait till you’re married and that happens.

Eventually,all married couples join the cast of PICKLES

I still talk to my cat all the time, and boy, does he talk to me!

Maybe with some couples but Not correct with others. However, sometimes quiet time between a couple can be very intimate and words than may not be necessary….

They can talk about the time they stole Elly’s car. Look back on it and laugh.
