I understand exactly how Roy feels. Here in a small city in the middle of NC, the pizza shops were all AWFUL. But then, an Italian family sold their pizza shop in Brooklyn and opened one here!!! Woo hoo!!!!
I was thrilled when a new Costco opened within a 5 minute drive from my home in November. You have to look for tho silver linings in a dark world we live in
Down here in Southern Delaware, we’re still ignored by many major corporations, who think that the entire population is Farmer Jeb and his kin. The area is exploding with development, with new housing communities going up every twelve feet.
A few companies do pay attention, though. There were huuuuge crowds when Panera Bread opened, and later when Chick-Fil-A came in. Yet, oddly, Burger King, KFC, Ruby Tuesday, TGI Friday and Pizza Hut all closed their local outlets in the space of ten years.

And remember, you can’t spell “DeLudendo’s” without “delude.”

A good pizza joint is worth the drive.
