I can’t remember the last time I got a personal (non-business) letter. It’s been years. I don’t count annual Christmas letters.

It is shocking, I know. I still write them from time to time. Mostly, but not always, typed and printed cause my handwriting is getting really bad from a resting tremor in my hand and cataracts in both eyes. But even still, once in a while, if I concentrate and take my time, I’ll write an actual letter. Support the USPS, folks. It’s the best deal around.

Do you, like me, have a bunch of postage stamps you’ll never use? The post office takes them back at face value. (I don’t know what they do about “Forever” stamps.)

It must have taken days to deliver. And days to write. Practice in pencil on a separate piece of paper before committing to ink, or crayon.

My Baby! She wrote me!

I got a few during the lockdown. But I haven’t written any in a very long time. Just as well….in the 70’s, I got several from my half brother kicking me out or the family…

A letter?! I haven’t received one of those in years. Probably I have nobody to write to, so nobody writes me back.

You must be important to them. They spent .66 cents to mail it.

Best format for truly conveying your thoughts….
