I miss the days when “W” and Sarah Palin were the dumb ones in the GOP.

Expect two years of idiotic and provocative statements and multiple investigations of conclusions looking for supporting facts, with no substantive work being done. It will be painful for the country, but way more painful for Republicans at the polls next year.

Meanwhile, the chip factories, green energy projects, and infrastructure improvements will start to become visible realities. Give Mr. Biden credit for working to improve the conditions of deteriorating towns throughout the rural landscape, benefitting mostly the people who wouldn’t have voted for him.

It will be painful, but indeed delicious to see the Republican party self-destruct on the international stage. They have worked so hard for so long to undermine everything that they do not know how to do anything positive. Mr. McCarthy’s pitiful bid for speaker shows their ability to destroy applies to their own party members and rules and ethics….they don’t discriminate, at least in that area….
