Seagull looks dubious about following the hawk! gulp

If Wallace were going to the Emerald City to see the wizard of Oz his own way, how would he do so instead of the yellow-brick road?

I guess that is The Path Not Taken?

Not all who wander are lost, but that’s often Wallace’s goal!

We’ve been down this “path” before.

I feel like this comic resembles some famous quote!

“Your nose.”

I love the 3 for 1 scene in the center panel. WH does this a lot to great effect. I can’t recall seeing this done in any other strip. Brilliant.
