She’ll be either a problem or a prodigy. Hope for the best, prepare for the worst.
She should improve with practice.

There is still time to learn the banjo, accordion, drums, oboe, bagpipes, and trombone.
They’re making very inexpensive violins from 3D printers.
My mom chose the violin for me so she encouraged me to practice at home. My dad never said much. He was a “grin and bear it” kind of guy.
We’ve started calling her screechy.
The daughter had to pull a lot of strings to get that violin.
