Somebody needs to look up discreet in the dictionary.

I don’t know why Mildred thinks she’s " All That." She’s just another number in the Dewey Decimal System.

All my sympathy! A library is just a terrible place for a smarty pants brainiac to be caught or seen in! I can’t imagine feeling the horror of it all if it happened to me!

See you like what? Reading books? Ooh, better hide that shame.

Better look around and make sure Sluggo’s not hiding next to you.

I know they are children and don’t have many places to go. But it’s interesting that Mildred always ends up in the same places where there’s also sluggo.

I guessed right that Mildred would encounter Nancy in the library – now for Sluggo to wander by….

Have we ever seen Sluggo and Mildred in the same panel? Asking for a friend.

Dr Jeckyll’s laboratory also had places to Hyde.

It pleases the picky me that Mildred spells “discreet” correctly for that usage. Even if it’s just in her thought balloon.
