I can see how if one works from home like Dad does, how that might be an inconvenience, Still don’t see it as a disaster though.

It would be a disaster if I can’t read GoComics.

    Any disasters?

Just the war in Ukraine with Putin’s threats and the earthquakes in Turkey leaving thousands homeless…energy costs exploding (despite the fact some sorts are back to prewar prices, of course)…same with groceries…inflation…our bank not functioning properly since 2 months now…our landlord wanting to inspect our flat because of complaints from neighbors (one specifically who denounces us)…my knees…my husband’s back…

No, boys, it’s not a disaster. Reboot your modem and, if that doesn’t work, call your ISP. Good heavens, boys, get a grip.

If the Wi-Fi is down, than anyone underneath it should still get a signal.

I have a hotspot as a back-up, so I can finish the comics when the internet goes down. And a laptop and a back-up charger when the power goes out. Priorities!

Just went through an ice storm and power was out for over 500000 people and mine came back on after 41 hours without it. The internet and cable were out longer and my cell service was non existent. Everything is online now, no physical way to read anything. Lost some appliances to surges and all of the food. I has been a pretty bad week/month/year(s).

My husband dropping his phone in the pool than trying to dry it out by putting it in the microwave and cooking it.

Could have blown the house up, but just fried every circuit in the phone instead. You could here it sizzling. The phone store guy was laughing his butt off, I was not as amused (It’s my cell phone plan).
