I don’t think this will can hold up. Alice isn’t really Lacey’s sister, and her name isn’t really Pearl, so she can’t prove Lacey meant to leave Alice the money. Besides, Lacey is not really “of sound mind” these days.

Yes It is unfortunately I got the Wicked Witch of the East.

That wouldn’t hold up in court since Alice isn’t actually Pearl.

Though Lacey is quite delusional, her will could be seen as referring to sister of the sisterhood.

Did Jeremy really think she was going to leave it all to him?

I’m kind of with Jeremy on this one. the fact lacy thinks it’s her dead sister shows she isn’t in her right mind.

This is not a will. hand written, no notary signature, not filed in the records, and of course does not pass the “being of sound mind and body” statement

Jeremy is starting to panic.

I notice Joanie’s hair is frazzled in the last frame,.. dealing with Jeremy.

I guess Jeremy is hoping they’d throw the bequest to the non-existent sister but keep his. More likely the whole thing would go and he’d get nothing, and all the money would go to some distant relatives according to intestate laws. I’m not even sure which jurisdiction she’s in.

Been a long time since I took Probate, but I’m thinking there really is a problem here.

Jeremy is perpetually broke. I have no idea how he supports himself when he isn’t mooching off of Lacey or someone else. Even if Pearl was still alive, he’d be angry that he wasn’t left more than $10,000 (which he’ll spend on something stupid and end up broke again, probably).
