The marine animal I feel sorry for is the whale that is ensnared in fishing nets. Humans cut the nets loose to save the animal, but how many more are out there with no one to help them??!!
How true all of you are . I saw a tv report some time ago and there is a place somewhere in California where all of the " mess " ends up and it is just mind " blowing " how much that there is in the ocean . SO ! sad for sure .
I wonder how the shark makes lemonade underwater? Wouldn’t all that water completely dilute the juice before the shark can taste it? But then in the shark’s favor, they can smell a drop of blood a mile away, so they can probably enjoy making lemonade.
I know there are organizations dedicated to get plastic out of the oceans, but they aren’t just enough to do all the job. We need to do our part by recycling and not littering.
I’ve seen some people’s rooms, their cars, their yards. I’m not a neat nick but I don’t understand how some people live in such trash and chaos. It breaks my heart to see so much trash wash up onto the beach. It breaks my heart even more to see Bud Lite cans recently left on the beach. A great deal of the waste washed up is either plastic or foil from snacks! fruit “juices”, beer, snack cakes and chips….

By 2050 plastic will outweigh marine life. Or so I’ve read.

I agree with Chip: Nothing is funnier than sharks dying because of plastic bags! Keep us laughing, Chip!

The idea that diluting waste in a large body of water gets rid of it needs to be replaced with “how can this waste be re-used constructively.”

Ocean Cleanup is working on it all over the world. If you want some good news about waste look them up.

Not to make light of a very real problem in our oceans, but I thought the second shark was modeling the latest in plastic ware. OK, my bad.

When life hands you lemons… it usually then rubs them in your eyes.

I doubt sharks are affected by plastics as much as smaller marine life.

If we all do just a little to help the environment and help keep waste where it belongs, our actions will add up …
Happy Friday, Crew.
