Can you believe there are some people out there who CAN’T count on their dad like this? One of the saddest things around.

Good thing he was “Owen” Owl and not “Helen” Owl, or he would have been in big trouble … in some states anyway.

“Twas brillig, and the slithy toves did gyre and gimble in the wabe….”

I’d do that for my daughter. Looks like fun!

I miss the days when my dad was around to read to my students. He loved it, and my mom enjoyed putting faces to the names of the kids.

My former wife was hired to play Cookie Monster at a mall. Gordon from Sesame Street was also there in a different part of the mall. Gordon’s manager stormed over to her and told her to leave because all the kids wanted to see Cookie Monster, not him.

I’M impressed he could read with that head on!

I wonder if my daughter will let me read for her classes someday?

I sometimes think I’d like to volunteer to read to children after I retire. And today I thought I’d like to do it in drag.

Volunteer as a reader in your local elementary school!

Give a hoot, don’t pollute.
