“It’s not easy bein’ green…”

Then you’re turned into guacamole.

So true. Hard as a rock and then…..soft and black inside. But they’re so good if you time it right.

This one’s going up over our kitchen workspace!

But even when you’re ripe, you’re toast.

I’ve been lucky so far. I make guacamole right when it gets soft all over, the avocado, that is!!

Plus, you’re green.

It’s the pits.

Softening him up for the crusher.

And we fondle them in the produce section trying to get them between the two.

Just like pears. I stand over them waiting for the 15 minutes that they are perfectly ripe.

I hate when the age spots start to appear.

How true, how true…

The hubs found a neat trick on Tictok or somewhere. You put avocados in a jar filled with water in the fridge. Ours kept like that two weeks! And they were perfect.

Bananas know that trick as well.

No kidding. I bought 3 yesterday and I’m hoping I can finish the one that isn’t in the refrigerator…
