Somebody’s been watching too many old movies!

I’ve never seen Fletch, but I do remember in Help! when Ringo asks for a lager and lime, and a lager and lime.

I vaguely recall seeing a movie called Fletch, and think that Chevy Chase was in the title role, but don’t remember anything else about it. Am I the only one who thinks this is rather obscure? Yes, of course I could “look it up”.

It was a series of detective books by Gregory McDonald. I read a couple of them years ago. They were pretty good. The Chevy Chase movie turned it into a comedy and is probably best forgotten…

And it looks like Honey might want to play something different than Fletch

so… this refers to the movie?

20th century joke that didn’t make sense when “Fletch” made it.

I guess I’m a bit different here as I enjoyed both Fletch movies with Chevy Chase. Kind of low brow but I’m good with that!

the great thing about fletch was definitely the highbrow humor… ☺

chuckle ya just gotta love that a normal word for a portion of the male anatomy (hint: it’s not “peepee”) is on the list of banned words. what the hell is wrong with this picture…?

Yep, it’s from the Chevy Chase movie. I just looked it up. It was even a video clip from the movie, so no doubt about it.
