Know your audience.

Well now, looks like The Reading Chair is the real Star of these events and all others, mere supporting players.

Famous, but, for all the wrong reasons……

And that’s why, at story time, I always sat on the floor.

If that car was any smaller it’d be a Tonka Toy.

It was a tough audience but Mr. Otterloop slayed ’em.

Of course you’re going to have problems getting out of the chair if you just wave your hands in the air. Push down on the arms of the chair!

Did he remember to bring graham crackers and chocolate milk?

It was a good day. Daddy was entertaining and successfully navigated the gauntlet of the Blisshaven urchins, Alice was the de facto center of attention and didn’t tantrum, no ceiling clowns popped out of nowhere, and Kevin found the MOO- maker. School almost lived up to it’s namesake, today.

If he can get out of that car, the chair shouldn’t be a problem.

Daddy’s a$$ and the chair cushion seem to be going in sink.

Ah! This is the Good Alice, the Alice we all like, the Alice who gives Daddy Peter’s fragile ego a boost!

Speaking of boosts, just how did Peter extricate himself from the Big Reading Chair (and how does Miss Bliss do it, too)?

P.S. We’ve seen Mr. Otterloop getting out of his “Honda-Tonka-Cuisinart” car, with just a few contortions. My routine getting into or out of my Mini Cooper is not all that different, even though my car is much larger than his!
