Iā€™d probably have thought she meant panda bears love to eat fishing poles

To be fair, Miss Bliss DID just put two random, unrelated statements about bamboo back-to-back, as if they were supposed to be connected. How was Alice (or ANY preschooler) supposed to know those facts were unrelated to each other?

A little two-letter word ā€œitā€ can change the meaning of what youā€™re saying.

Iā€™d want to know how the a bamboo pole came to be in the yard at the preschool, ha. Itā€™s a panda-free zone

I wonder if the bamboo makes it easier for the bears to slap the fish

Haha! Four panels of cute un obnoxiousness from Alice today. A Rare treat. Is Dill planning to transport fish or a Panda in that fine truck heā€™s holding?

But she didnā€™t explain how the Panda eats, shoots, and leaves.

Poor Alice! She misconstrues what Miss Bliss said and tries to pass off her error onto Daddy. Fortunately, heā€™s not buying it: something is fishy about itā€¦.
