To be fair, Miss Bliss DID just put two random, unrelated statements about bamboo back-to-back, as if they were supposed to be connected. How was Alice (or ANY preschooler) supposed to know those facts were unrelated to each other?

Well, it does explain why pandas mate so infrequently. Gone Fishing…..

Poor Alice! She misconstrues what Miss Bliss said and tries to pass off her error onto Daddy. Fortunately, he’s not buying it: something is fishy about it….
