Oh you laugh, but between my noisy upstairs apartment neighbors who loved to stomp around like Godzilla and selfish people on my floor who thinks the hallways are their kids’ personal playground, ocean sounds in my noise cancelling headphones is the ONLY way I can get some shuteye.

I sleep with a night light and with relaxing music (the former so I don’t bump into my bed in my dark bedroom upon, say, returning from the bathroom).
