hmm I am thinking maybe scary monster under the bed/in closet might not be best career choice for him. How about a DIsney character or a school mascot ?

Some monsters have a harder time learning than others.

Or a cheerleaders for pickle ball.

You are welcome to come to my house and live in my closet. ♥

We do all realize that this is, in a very gentle way, exposing the heart-wrench of those who do not happen to fit neatly into the parental definition of ‘normal’. Don’t we?

And the heart-wrench can be felt on both sides of the kitchen table.

Now that he’s bonded with the wooden boy, dad can just tell him all the nasty things kids and humans would do to it – thus inspiring him to want to scare the kids. Use it as a teaching tool.
