Tragic “bag” lady.

That bag reminded me of the Mary Poppins movie.

Do we need U2 with Bono singing in the background?

I just wonder how long she’s been carrying that VHS tape around.

I swear that a woman’s handbag is a Tardis.

The bag is almost big enough for her to climb in and have a look around.

That’s some big purse she’s ferreting about in if she’s been at it so long that he’s leaving her!

This conversation really hits close to home. Nearly identical to the conversation I had with my wife two years ago when she moved back to NC after 28 years of marriage. I’m glad I can see the humor in it, even at my age, 71.

The 1960s?

Me looking for my car keys- it seemed that my purse was a bottomless pit and the only way was to dump it all out. The purse wasn’t even that big – just very good at hiding things.

That’s not just a purse, it’s a time capsule.

She seems to have a lot of baggage.

Now she has found enough empty space to roll over in bed.
