I’m conducting “scientific research” on the adage Money can’t buy happiness. Since so far no one will fund my research I’d say yes it can buy happiness because I don’t have any money and I’m NOT happy! ;D
They’re conducting a controlled experiment on the efficacy of wishing for funding. Both groups have submitted grant proposals. The test group also made a birthday wish for funding, and this is the control group that didn’t make a wish. Scientific method in action!

Remember, our findings have to back up the people who fund us.
Which is why I am skeptical of the research provided by pharmaceutical companies and Big Oil and other special interest groups.
