The simple solution: take a bath.

I have a mixer on my shower. If I want to make it a few degrees warmer, I turn it a smidgen clockwise and it is hot enough to take the skin of a Rhino.

Oh icy what it does.

I have a tankless water heater. The first water was next to an air conditioning duct. The next water is the water inside the house coming from the heater as it warms up. Finally, the cold water from outside the house drops the hot water temperature again.

It’s set there for a reason, Horace.

We put in a constant temperature shower valve. Still gotta wait got the hot water to get there from the tank, but when it does it’s at the preset temp. We sneak it up a bit in the winter, down a bit in the summer.

Been there, done that.

Horace, adjust the water before trotting in the shower….silly horse!

It’s called “fluidic switching” and is the bane of plumbers everywhere.
