Right Wing gun Nuts aren’t subject to embarrassment or ethical pressure. You might not believe me, but all you have to do is look at their behavior.

I like that! You don’t need a permit for that gun, and properly loaded and aimed, it can be lethal. Plus, it has other practical uses. Try building a deck or a treehouse with a Ruger.

Of course, the Constitution insists tehy have the right to bear arms…but it says nothing abut amuniton. Make teh same of bulletds almost impossible, and limit the nuber one can have or buy (like for drugs… a gram for personal consumption isn’t the same as 20 kilos) . The magazines for automatic weapons should be banned completely.

Criminals don’t obey gun laws now. That’s just not going to change with more laws. Even if you confiscate all the guns, the criminals will still get them.

Not with the gun lobby being in charge

Everyone is a good guy with a gun until they are not.

By definition, the “bad guys” don’t obey the law. So any gun control laws you want passed will only affect the “good guys”. Yes, in rare cases, a good guy snaps and turns bad (possibly after reading all these inane comments), but you are proposing punishing everyone for the actions of a few. It’s like banning booze because someone drives drunk.

No.. the only thing that will stop this gun nonsense is a different supreme court.. one that is not beholden to either the republican party or the gun lobby. An independent rational court.. like the founding fathers intended.

I believe every American has the right to a gun to protect their home and property. I also believe the government has every right to regulate firearms for the well being of the public. When machine gun violence got out of control in the 20’s and 30’s they were heavily regulated though you can still own one. The same should apply to semi-automatic assault rifles and handguns.

Tennessee needs a lot more of them in their House of Representatives!

Evil people with guns, usually illegal guns, see these signs especially gun free zones, as an invitation to a shooting gallery.

I am sure that all of the criminals will start obeying the news laws as well.
