Yeah, that could’ve gone very bad, but sometimes we get lucky and our bad decision slides right on through, and if we’re smart, we never make that mistake again. Right, Fred?

Isn’t this the first time in uh, 60 years, that Fred has been careful with the soccer ball, I mean Football? (Sorry, Brits.)

In the radio they said today that in USA there is national sausage in a blanket day today. I thought Fred’s butcher could give our lads and gals some for free for this special occasion.

Who of you guys lives near Fred and goes telling the butcher? ;-) might get one sausage as well…

“More luck than judgment” must be a common British or Scottish saying. Amazingly, just today I watchd a “Mayday-Air Disaster” video from years ago where a helicopter pilot says his landing of the doomed helicopert was “more luck than judgment”, so I was really surprised when I read today’s “Fred”. OI don’t remember hearing that exact phrase used much in the U.S., at least not in my area.

Good judgement comes from experience, experience comes from bad judgement…
