I studied computer programming a long time ago, and I still have my flowcharting template around somewhere — although I never made use of it on the job. But this cartoon brought back a few memories. It also reminds me of the flowcharts Mad magazine used to present in articles about how to create plots for books, TV shows or movies (don’t recall who the writer was on those).

That’s a common comic stereotype, but it doesn’t represent any of the dogs I’ve known.
