Reminds me of living in Middletown during the TMI disaster. Don’t know who was kookier – the over-reacting locals or the sensationalizing press. Reporters would flock over to us when we attended local parades and concerts… they would always ask us leading questions about our motivations to be there, and of course politics… they gave up when too many times we answered “we’re just here for the free entertainment”.
