Well, they do try to imitate life as WE know it!

What started as a forbidden love, became an orbitin’ love.

Seems to me that, here on Earth at least, that business of tying tin cans or whatever to the bumper of the honeymoon car is long out of date. Assuming the aliens got the idea from us, I’d expect their knowledge to be more current.

Of course, maybe they’re relying on images they’ve seen in old movie and TV shows that were broadcast into space by us decades ago.

Command capsules return to earth. They were not abandoned. Now the LEM’s were, but the base was left on the moon and the assent module was abandoned and crashed on the moon.

I wonder if they guy’s friends filled those all up with loose gravel before he left (did that to my brother-in-law’s hubcaps)
