NATIONAL SILENCE THE SHAME DAY. National Day of Silence in April each year is a student-led movement to protest bullying and harassment of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) students and those who support them. The Day of Silence brings awareness and illustrates to the schools and the colleges how intimidation, name-calling, and general bullying have a silencing effect. Participating students take a day-long vow of silence.

Maybe it’s not money. Maybe someone left a nice house for the cats to live in instead of the warehouse.

Love this arc! Yesterday I did a 13 hour round trip to Carrizo Plains, a national monument I’ve always wanted to visit but it’s more or less in the middle of nowhere. 43 miles through the actual park surrounded by incredible masses of yellow flowers as far as one could see, plus spectacular vistas in the mountains leaving the park. Google it, and click on the images, you will find them jaw dropping. Well worth the exhausting drive.

Whatever it is, Chesney already has it spent.

Inheritance can be other than money. Whatever it may be I hope it is something Annie will be glad to have and share.

Bluebell is a wise kitty. Route Nine seems pensive. Could that be dear Woof’s head in the foreground?

I either saw two osprey, or i saw the same one twice today.

That is a real possibility. Both were displaying.

Bluebell makes a very good point. Still, it would be nice to find out what’s in the envelope. On another note, saw four juncos, a robin, a spotted towhee, a rabbit, and a chickadee while out walking today.
