Can A.I. have a original idea?

Same question could be rephrased: “If we were created by a god, why we are so stupid?”

A.I can (apparently) engage in sub-creation!!But to think that it is as valid as original creation, is beyond consideration!

SkyNet and The Terminator seem more likely every day.

Nah, I’m not worried about AI either. After what they did when experimenting it checking the internet, ChapGPT, and other forms, we’re safe. It’s PEOPLE you need to look out for. The older they get, the dumber they become (or TRY to become!)

I am currently listening to the new Beavis and Butthead, AKA, the Ted Rall/Scott Stantis weekly podcast. Ted is saying Biden has gotten nothing done, his normal stance, which as usual belies the fact that he is going up against 70 million petulant weenies, who vote for total garbage. Scott is stuck in no-whereland, the angry teen Libertarian party. ………………Scott just noted that masks were didn’t help during Covid, except when someone was infected.

As far as I can tell, things produced by AI SOUND human, but are actually mostly vague BS, and often completely false. So yes, we could be.

But thank you, Scott, for sending everyone into the epistemological abyss.
