    Before I received a draft noticed which forever altered my destiny, I attended V.P.I., now commonly know as Virginia Tech. When I first arrived there, I saw this billboard which had the following on it: “Home of the Fighting Gobblers”. That’s right folks! I could’ve laughed. Now they call themselves “Hokies” and the turkey is now called “Hokie Bird”. Sheesh!
