Cooks used to botch my order all the time. I would request eggs over medium, then settled for ordering eggs where the whites aren’t runny. Finally found a solution, order the eggs poached, problem solved.

Toast is pretty easy to burn.

Bacon & toast with a Humpty.

Brutus: Hey, these scrambled eggs aren’t cooked!

Waitress: You didn’t ask for cooked scrambled eggs.

Stopped at a Portuguese deli and they in fact botched a bacon and egg sandwich. After 2 bites, fed the rest to the birds.

How about a Pine Float – glass of water & a toothpick.

What an odd waitress. She must’ve got the job on her looks, not good sense.

Brutus, you might want to find another diner or brown bag it for a bit.

I’ll accept that challenge… bring in the burnt grub! :D

Never a challenge, just giving him/her an easier task to help hone the cooking skills that the cook possesses. Scrambled eggs and bacon are simple enough even for a novice. Tomorrow, maybe try a hamburger…..

So this is the only diner in town?
