In the northeast US, the weather starts to warm up around mid-May.

I can remember some gorgeous, great-to-be-alive days then.

Unfortunately, they are t00-soon followed by summer’s heat and humidity—even before it’s officially summer!!

No worries good people. As the sun goes around the earth the seasons will progress. Whether you like it or not.

Once past the age of always getting three months of summer vacation, many people get over the notion that summer is something to look forward to. Others get a kick out of spending a few months each year in a sauna.

We had about a week or more of Summery weather not too long ago here in SoCal. Went right from 65º and rainy to 90º with nary an in between. I hope mother nature remembers there are temps in between those 2 before we get to sweaty Summer.

That’s why they call it “May”, people. It “may” be warm or it “may not”. :)

Pussywillows, cat-tails, soft winds and roses

Rain pools in the woodland, water to my knees

Shivering, quivering, the warm breath of spring

Never cast a clout (Clothes) till May is out. a) May blossom (hawthorn) is out or b) the month of May is over. The choice is down to the weather.
